Pete's Paintings

Canisp & Suilven (Loch Crocach in foreground)
Isle of May, June 2022
I had a few of my paintings on show at the Fortingall Exhibition. Hope to do the same next year. What a fabulous show of work in a beautiful location!
Looking south-east from the Low Light on the Isle of May. Sadly, the bird flu which has been devastating seabird colonies on the North Sea coasts of the UK and Europe is beginning to affect the birds on this wee gem of an island, now closed to the public

I painted this view of sun set beyond Loch Tay in January.  This was a month before Russian forces invaded Ukraine.  Note the colours of the Ukraine flag in the sky and the ominous dark cloud threatening to obscure them. Prophetic or what?

Previous years' work .....

Some of these original paintings are available for purchase.
